Welcome

May 25, 2020

Hello my dear massage clients,

Over the weekend, Gov Sununu released phase 2 of reopening businesses in NH. I have carefully reviewed the Stay at Home 2.0 Reopening Guidance document for Massage Therapists, reading every line, word for word, being sure I could safely offer my services to you. Unfortunately, multiple patients I closely provide Physical Therapy to at the nursing home are COVID-19 positive, and I self-quarantine to my home when I am not at work for risk of being an asymptomatic carrier. Therefore, I do not meet multiple requirements to reopen.

In "General Guidance to Protect Employees and Consumers" 10-b which states "Staff and clients should be screened before each shift (for staff), and before the appointment (for clients) by asking if the individual: Has had any close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days" and 11-b which states "person(s) with any COVID-19 symptoms, those who report close contact with someone suspected or confirmed with COVID-19, or those reporting travel risk factors should not be allowed into the facility: asymptomatic persons reporting close contact with someone suspected or confirmed with COVID-19, or who report one of the traveled-related risk factors should self-quarantine for 14 days from their last exposure or return from travel."

I will not be able to take massage appointments at this time. I do not know when I will be able to. Hopefully, when the nursing home clears and reopens and I will no long have to fear of being an asymptomatic carrier. But there is also the whispers of another spike of infections later in the year. With all of these factors, unanswered questions, and unknowing, I have decided to temporarily close my office space. I do hope I can reopen in the future. I honestly love providing massage. It has always spoken directly to my soul in ways I can't even begin to describe to others. It has been my passion for over 10 years, and it hurts to have to say no to so many of you.

Many of you have asked when I will be able to take appointments, and I don't want to leave you hanging with nowhere to turn. So, I have reached out to 2 of my favorite massage therapists in Peterborough. They have both agreed to accept client referrals from me and take over your care while I am out of the office.
